Life has stayed pretty much the same after Elijah came home. He wakes, he eats, we change him, he sleeps. Continue that all day and night and you'll get the jist of our first 4 weeks with a new baby. Week 4 however brought a welcome change. Elijah started to smile ALOT more! I love that little grin, especially when it becomes a big smile. It doesn't happen often, and no it's not gas (most of the time). Usually something just amuses him and he smiles. We love it.

He's also started cooing more. He loves the monkey on his bouncer. He'll start cooing at it, then smiling, then for some reason he'll get upset and cry at him. I guess he's not interactive enough.

I'm so happy with his changing table-especially the placement of it. Elijah LOVES looking outside. Anytime a window is open in the daytime-you can bet where he's looking.

Check out those eyelashes. Definitely from his daddy.

He'll always put his fist under his chin. So amusing.

This was the first time we placed him in his crib (he's been in the bassinet so far). He liked the bumper and the mobile. However he spent most of his time staring at the wood slates. Yep-he'll be getting a cardboard box for his first few birthdays.

He's my hug magnet for sure.

Instead of exercising his arms and neck during tummy time, he's taken to pushing off his feet.

Can't believe how much he's changed! Makes me sad that I haven't seen him in so long :(
