Shutterfly Party

Bama loves her parties! Actually I will admit they're pretty fun. We got some cute photos during her last party.

Thanksgiving 2012

I love days off, especially days that celebrate being thankful! I didn't do a great job taking photos this year but here you go!

Play Dates

We're trying to make social functions a higher priority. With feeling so busy all the time it's so much easier to stay home and be lazy when we have any free time. That however doesn't feel as good after the fact-so socializing it is.

First we did a play date with the Crow girls! I had a Friday off work, so I met Natalie at the Provo mall and let the kids play in the play area. Elijah LOVED it!

The next Sunday we had the Stohels over for dinner. Elijah and Brock got suited up for sandbox play.

A Little Bragging Rights

I've had a lot of goals as a new mom. One of those being Elijah's nutrition. My goal was to breastfeed for 12 months at least. I'm happy to say that I have successfully done that. He hasn't had one ounce of formula. There were really hard times where it seemed hopeless but Gods design won over. With working 40+ hours I had to pump a lot. Also with Elijah's changing schedule I had to pump even more. I think by the end of pumping I had over 200 ounces saved. The last time I counted it was 156 ounces, but I know by the end I had AT LEAST 50 more ounces. So much work. This really is liquid gold.

Once Elijah started eating solids I decided to make his baby food.  We got a Baby Brezza Prima. I successfully kept the freezer stocked with cubes of baby food for these past 7 months!

Luckily, Kelly and Bula gave us over 200 jars of baby food. Even with my home made storage, these came in handy when out and about. We've already used at least 2/3 of them!!! I can't imagine buying all this food. We were so grateful for this gift!

Elijah 12th Month

Our last monthly update. I won't repeat all my sad whining I wrote on Elijah's birthday post. I'm sad he's already 1, but it was a great last month.

Eljiah is learning so much and so quickly. He's saying at least 10-12 words. Running everywhere, climbing on things, picking up things, throwing, and everything in between!

Here's a few photos of him this last month.

Elijah loves his window. Dad loves playing with hi.

A little mommy time

He'll do anything for Boo.

If you can't tell, Elijah has gotten cuddlier. We're eating it up.

But...he's still afraid of the vacuum.

I just noticed how many photos include Boo somewhere in the photo. My addicted little boy.
