“Remember me and smile, for it's better to forget than remember me and cry.” ~ Dr. Suess

Dr. Suess said it right, however that's easier said than done. I love what I do, but one of the best things about where I work is the people I work with. I love the friends.

The sad part is when the friends leave. Last fall, Holly left Synergy after 5.5 years working together. I was so sad to see her go. The great thing is she lives close, so we go out to lunch about twice a month.

Nick, Holly, and Ashley during our VERY frequent Borders trips.
This Friday was Ashley's last day at Synergy. She is getting married and moving to California. I'm so happy for her, but soooo sad to see her go. I will take the good Doc's advice, but I may cry when I go to work on Tuesday-now all I have is Nick left, hehe.

Ashley, happy at her desk

A few minutes later...an empty desk, and me very sad at the sight of it.Next, Lizzy will leave. Again on happy terms. She'll have her beautiful baby girl Rebbecca, but she will be missed as well.

My Little Boy is Growing Up

My little brother Dakota is leaving Jr. High and moving on to High School. We went to his awards ceremony this past week. He's so special to me and my family! I love him so much.

Here he is with some of his friends. The pics are not fabulous, but you can kinda tell.

Tulip Festival

"More than anything, I must have flowers always, always" ~Claude Monet

The Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point is beautiful. Actually, beautiful doesn't describe it. The flowers are so lovely, colorful, unique, and they smell so glorious. Abby and I had a great time. We went late in the afternoon, and were practically the only ones there.I tried to get Abby to chase the ducks...so they would get mad a chase her back. I thought it would be a good video, hehe. However, she was too smart for me.

The Boys

Last weekend I was planning on being in Costa Rica, but I had to cancel the trip because of the swine flu outbreak. When I'm gone on business, Tyler plans fun stuff with his friends to keep him busy. He and his friends were headed south for a skate trip.

Even though I stayed home, his plans prevailed. The guys were so excited to go south that I just couldn't say no. I did miss him terribly. I couldn't sleep without him. He makes me feel so safe at night.

Some of Tyler's friends bailed out on the trip, so it ended up being only Micah and him. They had a ton of fun though. They were able to take the two-seater S2k and they headed past St. George to Mesquite. They hung out there for part of the day, then went to St. George to Cliff Dive, Skim Board, and Skate. He came home to me Saturday night and I was so excited to see him.

I kept busy on Saturday with a yard sale me and my sister Bama put on. It was fun yet exhausting. The weather was so beautiful! So all in all, we had a good weekend.

Tyler took my camera this weekend, but didn't take any pictures! Scandalous, I know. So on his drive home, I told him he HAD to take a picture so we could blog it. They aren't the best but here are the guys on the way home. They look exhausted and sunburned...I guess it means they had fun.

Tyler an his fruit booting

Tyler has LOVED this video editing thing. He's getting really good at it. Here is a video he made of him and his buddies rollerblading. They are really good!

I'm so proud of my wonderful husband. He is sooooo talented. He succeeds in EVERYTHING he does. He is so accomplished in cars, skating, snowboarding, even pogosticking and unicycling! He makes our home look so nice and spends so much time repairing and remodeling. He is so loving and caring! I couldn't of asked God for more.

Here's Tyler and his friends rollerblading. I also love that he uses his christian music in the videos. It's great music and a way to glorify God!
