A Twilight Guy?

So I found this AWESOME website you all must check out. If you are a twilighter, twilight fan, someone who only read the books for research, or even a hater of twilight, you have to visit it.

This guy, Kaleb Nation, started reading the Twilight Series last April. He reads a chapter at a time and blogs his thoughts on it. He's very proud to be probably one of the only guys that read twilight and admitted to it.

The amazing thing about The Twilight Guy, is his insight. I can't believe the stuff he pulls out of the book-it's even more than I could. He is also hilarious. His comparisons and comments make me LAUGH so hard. Stephanie Meyer (author of Twilight) said it made her "laugh buckets".

Here is a link to one of his blogs on Chapter 13 (Confessions) of Twilight. This post is really good because he points out some of the reason why girls LOVE Edward Cullen so much and why the ladies want all the guys to be like him.

---(added a few minutes later after reading KN's blog on Chapter 14(Mind Over Matter)---
Oh also read Chapter 14 too, he has another good reason why Edward is so AMAZING with Bella.

Bright Red Sedona

We were so excited to leave the cold, snowy Utah and head down south to the warm sunny Sedona. It was so nice to get down there and enjoy the beautiful scenery and higher temperatures. The weather stayed so nice for us!

We got to go shopping... and Tyler found some rollerblading friends. Then we visited Montezuma's Well, look in the side of the cliff and you'll see ruins of old homes.

Montezuma's Castle was incredible. These people built their home in the cliff. I just wish we got to see it up close.

We also went to see the Chapel of the Holy Cross. This Catholic chapel is built IN the rock. It was fun to see as well.

So praise God- the food poisoning only lasted 3 hrs-in the middle of the night. The next day I felt better, a little woosy but well. I wanted to take it easy, so Tyler got A LOT of skating in.

We took a hike to the Cathedral Rock. We got pretty high up. I started getting a little concerned about my 'self preservation' so I took a seat as Tyler climbed the rest of it.

On Monday on the drive home we stopped off in Cave Dwellers, a city at the edge of Arizona. It was amazing-people lived UNDER these rocks. I was tall enough to stand up straight in one of the old homes. Tyler enjoyed hangin out in one of the rocks.

We had a great vacation!

Valentines Day 2009

Tyler and I have been sooo excited to get away-without my job involved. We considered the next paid day off we got and Presidents Day came up on the Calendar. Luckily Valentines day fell on the same weekend, so it was doubly as nice.

Here's what I came home to on Friday. Beautiful isn't he? The flowers were gorgeous too!

Then we took off to Sedona and went to eat Valentines dinner at a really nice restaurant...who knew I was going to get food poisoning? Besides that, we had a really great Valentines day!

I gave Tyler new roller blades so he could skate at the awesome skate park in Sedona. He had to order them a few weeks ago, and was sooo excited to skate with them.Tyler gave me a much need massage at the Sedona Spa. It was a couples massage and was so relaxing and nice to be together during it.

Were not exactly liking the CHANGE...

Our National Debt is rising, what are we going to leave our children with? Obama's Stimulus plan isn't going to help create jobs, only raise the national debt another Trillion Dollars. As of now, our national debt is $10,724,197,797,293.84. If this bill passes, just add another 800 BILLION to that. I hope the government enjoys their new buildings and cars.

Another thing that bugs me...the things they slip into the bill. There is important information they're not letting the public know about. Instead of me going into this...luckily my friend Ashley has expressed exactly what I am feeling. So please, click here to read more!

Fashion Cash Clutches

So, if you've spoken to us about finances lately, you have heard of Dave Ramsey's cash only plan. Tyler and I only use cash. The cash only plan uses a cash envelope system. You budget your money by different categories, then with cash, you split you money up into different 'envelopes'.

We had Dave Ramsey's leather cash envelope system, and it was great-kudos to Dave. However, I don't really feel fashion or 'cuteness' was incorporated when they designed it. So no more pulling out the embarrassing cash envelopes at lunch with the girls or where ever. I have this awesome little cash clutch that looks fashionable, but still is very functional. So I wanted to share this budget wallet with anyone else that is interested.

I'm selling these budget wallets for $15. I currently have them in the six patterns below. There are 13 tabs so you can split your cash up into 13 categories. Please email me at laceylyn77@yahoo.com or purchase below using PayPal if you are interested.

*I also have a camo material if you have a guy that wants one. My brother uses one- he doesn't carry it around with him, but keeps it at home to separate his money. It's a great way to teach kids how to use money.

If you would like to purchase one now using PayPal, select which style you would like and click on the ADD TO CART button. Shipping is $4.00 for the US. Please email me at laceylyn77@yahoo.com if you would like it shipped internationally.

A few examples of the categories would be:

Twilight is coming to DVD!!!!

Yay! I can't wait for March 21. Twilight will be out on DVD. I anticipate I will watch it about every night or so. Hehe-okay maybe not that much, but it will definetly be playing on the weekends.
I had to decdide between the Hot Topic Edition and the Borders Edition. Each had something great to offer. Hot Topic is including a Film Cell in each DVD. It is actually a strip from the movie and comes with a certificate of authentication. Borders was including some extra interviews and some printed photos of the film. I decided to go with the Hot Topic Edition. I have seen most of the interviews included on the Borders DVD, and what am I going to do with printed photos? Hang them in my house...I would have to talk to Tyler about that one :).

Anyway, here is my DVD. I get it on March 21...and of course we will have a TWILIGHT PARTY...so save the DATE!
