Oh and here is a another picture I found. It's kind of embarrasing-but definetly worth sharing!

My big Sis
Love you Tina!
I love this picture of her. I have one just like it of me.
These pictures really show her spirit. She lit up a room.
This is how I remember her. She was about 11 in this picture. She is with her Godfather Ed.

California Vacation Part 1
We left for California last Tuesday for a desperately needed vaca. How is it that it is always too short. Since we left after work, we stayed that night in the huge city of Primm, NV. Thanks to Grandpa Gillman, we found a room for only $23/night. Who even knew those prices still existed.
Buffalo Bills, I am sure it was popular back in the day.

The next day we hit up Venice beach for a few hours where I toasted the backs of my legs-whoops. BBQ that night with family and off to Six Flags the next day. Six flags was great-except my sunburned legs kept sticking to the seats. It felt like duct tape was being ripped off at every turn. But nothing hinders fun in Magic Mountain. We had a great time!

California Vacation Part 2
A previous post, I wrote about trying to find an awesome gift for Tyler's birthday. I did it! Now I really don't know how to pass it up next year...but I have a few ideas.
Tyler loves Skimboarding! It's kind of like surfing, but it begins and ends on the sand. So for his birthday, I got him a new skimboard and lessons with the Top Skimboarder-World Champion - Paulo Prietto. So we headed down from Newport Beach to Laguna to meet Paulo and learn a little from him. Paulo was awesome and his lesson really made Tyler a better skimboarder!
Here is Tyler and Paulo

Here's a pic of one of the wave Tyler caught...

Here is a pic of one he didn't...

Best skim of the day!

California Vacation Part 3
The next day was the Victoria World Championship Skimboarding Contest in Laguna Beach. Tyler got to see Paulo Prietto compete with worldwide pros. He also got to skim with a bunch of famous SkimBoarders. It was pretty awesome.
That night we found a little Japanese place. It was pretty awesome! We love sushi.

The next day we went out to Balboa Island and Balboa Peninsula. This was really fun! My car got to ride on a boat and so did we. I highly recommend the ferry to anyone!

I'm Proud to Be An America
I love the Fourth Of July. However, I don't like that we all call it the 4th of July. It's not like were celebrating the date. I wish we all called it Indepence Day. Its more meaningful.
We had a skimboard BBQ at our house that afternoon. It was a blast! Here is Bama's baby, Dawsen. We love this little american dress that little Brinley used to wear.

Little Levin...Micah and Marci's Baby Boy

Later that night we went to RMR to the Midnight Drags. Dakota was excited to go, but after an hour or so he told me he was dissapointed. Hehe.
