Happy Birthday Natalie

Today is my friend Natalie's birthday. We celebrated with her and her family last Saturday. It was a lot of fun. We played games at Noah's, where I won the 'Who Is This Natalie Girl' game. Yay!

Twilight Party!

The Twilight DVD was released on Friday, and we had our own Twilight Party on Saturday night. I had so much fun decorating! I made mushroom ravioli (What Bella eats on her first 'date' with Edward) and everything was Twilight themed. It was so much fun. We watched Twilight and all the deleted and extended scenes. I can't wait until New Moon comes out!

"I'm the one with the wicked curveball"-Victoria

Last night Abby and I encountered a real live VAMPIRE!...Okay, not really (but how do we really know?). However, we did get to meet Rachelle Lefevre who plays Victoria in Twilight. Victoria is one of the bad vampires who tries to kill Bella.


It was chaos! Incredibly awesome. However because it's just my luck, my camera battery died. Of course I didn't have my camera phone, so this is the best picture I was able to take. Luckily Abby had a little better luck and was able to suck the remaining life out of her batteries...those pictures will come soon.


After struggling through the crowds (learning my best 'push you're way through, no matter how many people you tick off' from my Aunt George and Mother). We hopped in the autograph line-that went all the way around the perimeter of WalMart may I add. We actually got to meet her first hand and get her autograph in our Twilight Collectors Edition Books. Yay!

Tyler and the Boys

This past week, Tyler's friend Russ was in town. Tuesday they got to take advantage of the visit and all hang out for a fun night.

Fanny Price

I just finished reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. I loved this book. Jane Austen's characters are always so amazing. Fanny by far is one my most beloved heroines from the Jane Austen writings.

Fanny Price, a poor girl, goes to live with her relatives in Mansfield Park. She is so humble, kind, gentle, proper-everything that one of Jane's characters should be. The thing about Mansfield Park is that is is different than a lot of Jane's novels. It is of course, about romance. However, it is more about who Fanny is as a person, who she becomes, and how she gets there. All ends well of course, but Jane leaves it up to the reader to imagine the romantic parts.

I suggest everyone sit down with this book. What about Ms. Austen's other novels? I also LOVE Pride and Prejudice (of course), Northanger Abbey, & Emma.
