One of Tyler's long time best buddies got married in December. Were so happy that Abbie came into his life and wish the many years of happiness and a blessed marriage.
But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Before the wedding, the bachelor party had to happen. Now in Utah-we do things a little differently. Bachelor parties don't usually consist of drunken wild nights and painful hangovers. It's more of a 'go out for Pizza at Mawali's, move over to the Provo Beach Resort (yes that exists-but there is no beach) for some indoor flowriding, then finish the night hanging at our place' where I was lucky enough to be included.
We were happy to be a guest at their reception in Eagle Mountain. It was low key and relaxed-just like the couple. The highlight was probably the cake eating 'fight'. Oh yes-they both did a great job getting each other covered in pretty yellow frosting. The bride even ended up on the floor. They both took it wonderfully though and her hair looked just as elegant after the re-do as before. Hands down the best cake 'eating' we've ever seen.
