We broke up all the cement, tore out the bench, dug up a MILLION bricks and stepping stones, pulled up vines, shovel tilled where are the vines were, and much much more.
Then my giving cousins-we could NOT have done this without them. They are serious the best people ever. -They lent us their truck for all of last saturday. We took a load of metal to the recyle shop, a truck bed load of rocks, stones, bricks, and concrete to the dump, and picked up a bed full of new sod.
We were soooo tired, but still came home and planted the sod. It totally paid off, we love our new yard. Here are the beautiful after pictures:
