I'm Getting All Crafty-Like

I guess it was bound to happen; I'm becoming domestic. We desperately needed new kitchen curtains, but the ones we wanted would have been expensive, so I decided to make my own. I think they turned out great!

 

I really wanted to make Isaiah a rag quilt, but Elijah started asking if I was making him a blanket, and of course he wanted it to have Lightening McQueen, so I made this. I'm so proud of it!

 

I also tried my hand at canning for the first time! Our neighbors David and Linda gave us plenty of pears. It took a lot of time but turned out great!

 Isaiah's rag quilt is my favorite. It's so cute and soft with the minky!
