Elijah turns 3 months tomorrow. Time has gone by way too fast. He's growing so well and getting so smart! As the nurse said in the hospital: "He has all his fries in his Happy Meal". Here's a few highlights from the last month.
We gave Elijah his first bath in the sink. All other baths were sponge baths. We hoped for a more excited reaction. All I can say is he wasn't too impressed.
Dr. Anderson checked baby Elijah out for his 2 month well child check. He's doing great, but needs more tummy time to avoid a trapezoid shaped head. The doc told us to be more mean and force the tummy time. Elijah has gotten better at it this month.
He'd get tired of crying, and admit defeat. Sometimes this includes a little nap.
Elijah hated tummy time so much, he decided to roll over {3 months early!}. I couldn't keep him on his tummy after that. He's also learned how to scootch. He usually goes in a clockwise motion. Sorry for the fuzzy photo, but it was taken quickly in the middle of a roll over.
He of course has gotten cuter. Doesn't seem possible huh. He started smiling much much more, and even a breathy laugh or two.
Elijah found new things to do with his tongue. He always played with it. His first photos after being born has him playing with his tongue, but there's always new things to discover.
He started sleeping in his crib for the first part of the night (until he woke up to eat).
We started swaddling him with one arm out. He's a little Houdini and jail breaks right out of his swaddle. Next step: 2 arms free!
Lots of family and friends came to visit our popular little child.
Plenty of naps and cuddle time with Daddy (and Mommy of course)
He even got a few quality reads in. Oh and I should note that he broke out of his 3 month clothes. That's a 6 month onesie folks.

You want to know perhaps the best part of month 2? Just a week ago, he started sleeping through the night. This is one happy momma!
...okay nothing is better than his laugh, not even sleep.
