We have a new fun holiday on our calendar: Rosca de Reyes (or King's Day). This day commemorates the Wise Men or Magi that came to visit Jesus on his birth. Abby, Moises, and Chay invited us to celebrate with them the past 2 years. This year Dakota joined us. We love it.
The party sports a yummy sweet bread with child figurines baked into it. The child represents the Christ Child. Whoever gets the figurine hosts a party with tamales for the fun group again. Dakota and I both got a figurine so we're hoping to host the party soon.
After the yummy bread and Mexican hot chocolate we played Clue! Which of course Moises won like always.
It was a fun night with yummy food and drink, friends, family, Jesus and of course...Mrs. Scarlett with the lead pipe, in the lounge.
