Baby Jimmy

Phew! As I opened up my browser to start writing this post, I was 100% convinced I haven't blogged at all this year. It makes me happy that I was caught up to June!!

So this post is LONG overdue. If you really don't know me, or aren't my friend on Facebook, then this post may come as a surprise (although I highly doubt that!). So the big news...well the title gave it away, we're expecting Baby Boy Olsen #2....temporarily called "Baby Jimmy" for now.

16 Weeks

No we're not keeping that name, but Elijah is so dang cute when he says it...and really he was the one who decided it was a good name to call the baby for now. How you say? Well for documentation purposes I'll tell you.

17 Weeks

Tyler called our baby "Baby Jimmy" as a joke. Elijah of course repeated it so adorably, that from that point on, he was "Baby Jimmy". So for now, that is his name. Just like Elijah was Baby Peanut.

26 Weeks

Anyway, as second time pregnancy rules dictate, there is way less information on this pregnancy as there was on Elijah's. It makes me sad, but Elijah just keeps us so busy that it seems impossible to keep up on the blog! Luckily I have tried to take pregnancy photos. Also luckily, this baby is boy so I'm sure he won't be heartbroken when he's 24 and realizes I didn't write monthly updates.

Elijah enjoyed the camera as well!

28 Weeks

So a quick update on the pregnancy? What I can remember at least?

-Positive Test on February 19th!
-Our first appointment was on March 20th
-We didn't hear the heartbeat until he 16 weeks along. Stubborn little guy.
-Morning sickness was exactly the same as with Elijah. I couldn't stand coffee and potatoes were my friend. I also really liked Ramen noodles. My lunch budget went out the window because I couldn't stand the lunch room food at my office.
-Quite a few other people at work were/are pregnant too (8-9 at one time!). Fun environment!

32 Weeks

-My back hurt from the moment that test showed positive. The chiropractor and yoga has been so helpful.
-We found out he was a 'He' on June 12th. I was so excited. This was what I was hoping for. A little buddy for Elijah. A girl would have bee great too. I was about 60% wanting a boy, 40% wanting a girl.






-I felt him move for the first time at 13 weeks. Tyler felt him move at 18 weeks.
-At my 28 week appointment he was breech :(.
-At my 33 week appointment he was head down :). Yay!
-I am 33 weeks and 1 day as I write this.
-He's due the first week of November. We'll see when he decides to come though!

34 Weeks

-I had a super fun Baby Sprinkle on August 17th. We had close family and friends come and celebrate Baby Jimmy.

-I'm almost done re-arranging Elijah's room to accommodate his baby brother. Elijah will move to a toddler bed this weekend!

-We can't wait to meet him. Only about 6 weeks left!!!

35 Weeks

Here are Baby Jimmy's first photos. We've gotten quite a few due to a low lying placenta (it's moved up though, so all is good!)
